Posie has a background in both the private and public sectors. Apart from running her own business through her varied career, Posie has been part of many start-up organisations.

Prior to joining Salomons, she was part of the team that designed and set up the "Airth" Algorithm review process for Scotland and England. She worked in General Practice for 5 years, and was involved with the start up of Out Of Hours Co-ops for GPs. Posie joined Glasgow Emergency Medical Service (GEMS), becoming their General Manager with responsibility for the recruitment, training and management of staff. High on the agenda within this role was the management of change.

Examples of recent projects

• Since joining Salomons, Posie has been part of and led teams delivering the assessment centre approach to recruitment. She frequently trains and coaches assessors and continually evaluates and modifies the process where necessary
• Posie is skilled at delivering feedback, coaching and development at all levels. She is qualified to deliver 360º feedback using the Leadership Qualities Framework (LQF) competencies. She is qualified to administer psychometric tests at both level A and B and regularly gives written and verbal feedback on personality instruments, such as the 16Pf5
• Posie is qualified to deliver the Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) and frequently uses this tool in both team and individual development
• Most recently Posie has been working with senior clinicians and health service managers on their personal development. This has involved all aspects from self awareness to CV and job application preparation.
• Coaching is now proving to play a large part of Posie’s role

Posie is based in Scotland in CLMD’s Glasgow office.
