Psychometrics in Team Development

Understanding the dynamics in the team is important if it is operate at its optimal level. Psychometrics (personality inventories, attitude measures and 360 degree feedback measures) provide valuable insights into different people within a team and how they interact with others. This information can not only improve co-operation between team members but also enable the team to use individual strengths more effectively.

Salomons’ experienced consultants work with you to understand which tool will meet your team’s development needs and how best to use it. We can offer group and individual feedback and build on this within a team building event.

  • Myers-Briggs Type Indicator Step I and II

The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) questionnaire is the most widely used personality questionnaire worldwide based on over 50 years of research. We use these results to understand how different personalities interact and build on this to develop effective teams.

  • Strength Deployment Inventory (SDI)

It provides an understanding of the motivations behind behaviour that can be used to improve relationships between individuals and make a positive impact on team dynamics. Salomons are experienced in using the SDI tool in our work with teams as a catalyst for improving cooperation and performance
