Coaching skills for managers
There are a number of coaching skills and approaches that can be appropriately adapted to the line-management role. For example, effective listening, brainstorming, goal-setting, challenging. A line manager can help individuals to be much stronger by “coaching” them to find their own solutions and to manage their own development, rather than by giving them all the answers. Giving constructive and direct feedback, both positive and negative, is particularly helpful within a line-management relationship.
We can provide training and development to individuals or groups around:
- Managing your impact
- Influencing skills
- Presentation skills
- Dealing with stress
